Uniform Den Inc. Moline. IL is a family owned and operated business in the Midwest, established in 1979 by Janie Dennhardt. Prior to 1979 the business was known as 5th Ave Tailor & Uniforms. Janie has overseen the development and growth of the business into a three location operation over the past 30 years. Janie has served on the board of directors of N.A.U.M.D and N.U.D.A and was one of the founding fathers of the USA Buying Group.

Since its creation in 1979 Uniform Den Inc has strived to bring quality products at a fair price to all our customers. The store serves Northwest Illinois and Northeast Iowa. Our motto "Your career is our Business" is supported by our commitment to inventory, with over 11,000 square feet of show room and warehouse space in each store. This allows us to carry the latest trends in attire and equipment for law enforcement, medical, EMS, postal, chef wear, fire, career apparel and industrial uniforms.

Uniform Den Inc. is a member of N.A.U.M.D (National Association of Uniform Manufactures & Distributors), N.A.P.E.D (National Association of Police Equipment Distributors), USA Buying Group and Unilink. This allows us to stay up to date with new technology and changing trends in our industry.

Our family commitment has also continued with the 2nd generation. Andy Dennhardt is the General Manager of Uniform Den and Uniform Den East. His background includes four years in the United Sates Marine Corps, twelve years as a law enforcement officer, and twenty years of experience in the uniform industry. He is currently on the board of directors for N.A.P.E.D.

S. Harris Uniforms
Janie Dennhardt purchased S.Harris Uniforms Peoria. IL, in 1990. Since 1910 S.Harris Uniforms has been serving the Central Illinois area with pride and integrity. In 2001 S.Harris uniforms opened an embroidery store at this location called Detailed Threads. Our staff has serviced almost every industry including law enforcement, fire, EMS, medical, postal, food service, industrial and Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts of America.

We pride ourselves on establishing standards and uniform programs for your every need. State of the art embroidery and shirt imprinting gives us every opportunity to make your business or department stand out above the rest.

Our family commitment has also continued in this location with 2nd generation. Todd Dennhardt & his wife Karla Dennhardt manage this location. This management team has over 25 years combined uniform experience.
